WOOD FRAMING & DESIGN

Since 1986, AES has designed solutions for both new and existing wood-framed structures. Specialized wood-framed structures have since become a hallmark of work done by AES. Framing types have included glulam, conventional wood-framing, a wide range of engineered wood products, wood truss construction and hammer beam truss construction types. We have renovated heavy timber wood trusses in historic structures and developed restorations for several historic wood-framed houses on the National Register of Historic Places. Our work has included wood framing designs for unique custom homes (typically large), single-family residences, clubhouses, custom retail facilities, apartments, condominiums, and dormitories.
