BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING
AES was an early adopter of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. For over 14 years our firm has used it on a majority of our projects, continually upgrading our systems to stay with the latest standards. With BIM, we can share models and facility design coordination across disciplines, streamlining extraction and access to design information, and enhancing our ability to deliver high quality documentation and structural services.
Our BIM technicians have developed and customized families and systems within Autodesk’s Revit software to address modern building construction systems, and our engineers then create models using these tools to aid in confirming and coordinating design information for the project. We are equally adept in Autodesk’s AutoCAD which is still preferred by some of our clientele. Our project engineers and CAD managers communicate with our clients about desired outcomes, modeling features, and anticipated usage of the model’s information.
